A Sweet Butterfly Card for Many Occasions

Image
Hi everyone, today I have made a sweet butterfly card for many occasions.  I like to keep a stash of cards that I can write out and get into the mail if I am in a hurry. I also like to make cards in batches to give as thank you or appreciation gifts.  This card would work for both, It was fast and fun to make.  I used Magenta Stamps and a piece of scrap paper from my stash I stamped directly on to the paper using Versafine Clair ink and my stamping tool. The butterfly is stamped colored with alcohol markers and then fussy cut and added onto the card. A little bling and glitter and I have an all occasion card! The stamps I used: A classic Magenta Large butterfly New in the Spring line Spring Silhouettes- Flowers Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day! Ginny M

How to Make a Bold Masculine Birthday Card.

Image
Because I own several Cricut products, I get a lot of emails to sell me more Cricut products.  I also get notification of freebies for my machines, and like that!  I'm always making birthday cards and recently I got a great  Freebie for birthday cards.  Today I am going to show you how I made a super fast masculine Birthday card. I'll show you the card and then the process: I really wanted to use this Beautiful Nero Incandescent paper by paper temptress as a special focal paper, it is black with a gold shimmer`it is really beautiful! This is a #76cover weight paper and cuts perfectly on the electronic cutting machine and hand cutting dye machine ( I use both!).  Due to my lighting this looks browner than black in this picture. But It is blck with gold shimmer, and just a touch of texture! I selected a card base , layering , and focal papers I stamped a watermark image using my Misti and a TH stamp This was the first time I have used this ink pad,

Hello everyone!  Since we are still seeing snow here in New York, I really wanted to make a pretty spring card! This card is really very simple and fast to make, I started with a piece of 130# watercolor paper and lightly coated it with Distress Ink. Next, I stamped my beautiful Pansies Stamp on 30# vellum. I colored the back side of the image - you can be very free with the color. Added my sentiment coloring on the reverse side is almost like magic! A bit of lace for the trim. A few rhinestones... and my card is done! ***** Magenta products used: 09.092 07.969 Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a beautiful day. Ginny M

How to Make a fun Elephant card and a Digital card Freebie

Image
Ever forget a birthday?  I do it far to often!  I recently joined  an Elephant Card swap, and since Elephants are reputed to have a good memory, I thought I would make it a belated birthday card! I printed the image I created on  Kraft card stock by Neenah  And simply colored with a few colored pencils and gamesol I picked a few peices of paper from my stash and used  ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever™   to hold it all together. The DP paper is from  a 6x6 stack by basic gray called Granola - one of my favorites!  From 2008! my finished card is 4.75x6, I enjoy making larger cards ( more room to work with)! A little Chipped Sapphire distress ink around the edges. Here is the digital you can use for your late birthday cards! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Ginny M
