Hello Everyone,  It is  Word Art Wednesday! Please take the time to click the blog Word Art Wednesday and check out Karen Letchworth's beautiful devotion and Karen Murphy's Digital Caligraphy featuring this week's verse: Psalm 86:5. For inspiration, we have the Design Teams' beautiful card Inspirations.  Why not make a card and enter the challenge.  You can win a lovely gift certificate to One of my Favorite shops: Top Flight Stamps!

My Card this week using our Scripture gift:

I blended the verse into the Digital Forest and cut out the two men from a digital image freebie online. I created a little depth by doing four layers.

Such a great verse and perfect for a "man card."

What a great thing to know, The Almighty will lay his hand upon us!

Thank you for stopping by my blog,
I hope you enter the Anything Goes Challenge and win the prize!
Have a great day,
Ginny M

Word Art Wednesday and Anything Goes Challenge #631-#632.

Good Morning! It is Word Art Wednesday's Anything Goes Challenge # 631-632.  As always,  anything family-friendly goes a card, an ornament, a journal, or framed art; we love you sharing your talents and creations!   We have our beautiful devotion by Karen Letchworth, a digital scripture gift from Karen Murray, design team inspiration, and a terrific $25.oo prize from Stamp Simply! Check the website out; there is something for every type of crafting.

I had a lot of fun creating this card, I used the stamp set by Stamp Simply # SS-038,  Pastor Appreciation set # 2 ( there are 2 sets).  I am a big fan of Stamp Simply's scripture and sentiment stamps; they always stamp beautifully, and I love the fonts used.  Our Pastor's Birthday is this month, and since I am one of the Church Card Ladies, I made this card from the church to our Pastor.

The next card I made with this week's verse by Karen Murray

This image just seemed like what we are all looking for - that happy embrace by the Lord.  The one that says I am with you now and forever.
Wherever we are in the world and in life - he makes us overcomers.

I am so glad you stopped by my blog today and I hope you will enter the  Word Art Wednesday Challenge with your beautiful Creations!

My Card Sample using the beautiful verse from Karween Murray

I love the beautiful and serene expression of this portrait.

As I looked through images and stamps to go with this week's verse, I thought this one would be perfect.

I don't think there is a woman on the planet who cannot give pause to all the anxieties that besiege us on a daily basis, especially now.

When I was a teenager, it seemed like everyone's mom that I knew was on Valium; as the years passed, the drugs changed.  But the  Anxiety remained.  Today, we all struggle with it, but for a growing number, the answer isn't drugs; it is Jesus.  I've had my days, anxiety, depression, and just the general run-of-the-mill daily; the sky is falling syndrome. For me, it has been Jesus and the Word that has brought comfort to my soul. I am in no way casting aspersions on anyone who has or does need the help of modern medicine.  I am in my early 60s, and I am just now getting through things from my young life - I get it. The Lord has broken so many chains in my life in the last few years. I truly feel Born Again - Again!

Feathers, rhinestones, glitter, and a little bling make the card more fun.

I used a diamond-shaped
3D embossing folder on the background paper and used a gold paint                                     spritz on the surface before putting the focal image on that layer.

And for your card-making, right-click and save.  The woman image is public domain art
Have fun dressing her up as you like!

Most importantly, If you need help with anxiety, make sure you get it!  Stay in the Word and allow the Lord to lead you to the still waters for that rest and refreshment you need.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing Word Art Wednesday with me.
I hope to see your card entrance, and you win a prize!
Have a great day!
