I truly love this verse!  Growing up close to the ocean, I could always feel the power and magnificence of the sea.

I used a scrapbook paper page to make this card, I had two images, the first print the verse was in the wrong place.  On the second print, I would have like to have had the line "as the waters" above the waterline, I am still happy with it.

For my card this week, I choose a public domain image of a castle and colored it with alcohol markers and colored pencils.  I also broke out my paper crimper - remember how cool those were?  I still enjoy using mine!

I really enjoyed making this card this week, using a beautiful digital and an old-school favorite technique.

My  Card

This is a composite image, I used publisher to create the finished image

 

To create a glass-like look, I used a coat of Lineco bookbinding glue.  I love this glue for card making and bookmaking and a faux glass texture.  I simply add a layer to the image and let it dry
