Today's verse is so timely and so much a part of my desire to walk with the Lord

I think the older we get, the more realize how unimportant things are and that the only thing we will stand with in the end is our love for the Lord anad the history of a life lived for Him.

Word Art Wednesday and a Masculine Freebie

This week I paired a strong image with today's  verse: 

I created this card by overlaying the verse on to my digital image and then adjusting the size and color.

I also added a bit of color and a ribbon to "dress" the card, nothing to fancy, this will go to a guy.

This manly image is part of the Geck Galz  'Sharp Dressed Man2'  set

This is such an important verse and a big part of loving one another!

Summer Fun! and A Freebie

I am having a great summer here in CNY, the weather has been lovely, lots of family time and still working on renovating the house.  I have  been able to get into my craft room, but knowing the winters are long, I am out side as much as I can while I can.  

Today I'm sharing a little Summer fun with Gecko Galz!   

Some fun B+W prints using a few embellishments from my stash:

For this card I also did a little hand stamping on the base!

and even more color!

Using Digital and bits from my scrap designer paper, Tying it altogether with Purple ribbon and distress inks!

I love creating all these hybrid cards, it really bring the best of both worlds!

Word Art Wednesday and making a hybrid card - the best of both Art worlds

Happy Word Art Wednesday everyone! I hope you stop over to the blog and join in the fun, This week I am writing the devotion  and we have another another beautiful bible verse digitized by Karen Murray!   Our Sponsors this week are  'Neat & Tangled  and a $25.00 Cutting Cafe (digital) Spree! 

This week I have made my card using Heat embossing with a wonderful Magenta stamp, Digital background from Gecko Galz  and  this weeks digital sentiment by Karen Murray and Tim Holtz patterned paper.
Here is the card:

I've used a Gecko Galz background paper  for my 'watercolor' background

I've used a beautiful Magenta stamp with Versafine black and heat embossed 

I really love my wood mounted Magenta's and this one comes out perfect every time.  I've accented the image with a little white pen and added micro beds

I truly love this verse - for the Lord has made me glad!  

I love sharing His beautiful word through the art of card making and then using that to encourage those that know Him and those that need Him and that would be everyone!
