Happy Word Art Wednesday everyone! Karen Letchworth has given us a beautiful devotion!  We also have another gorgeous  Bible verse digitized by Karen Murray!    Our Sponsor this week is            Pink and Main, offering a lovely $20.00 gift - that is a new set of stamps!!    Stop over to the blog, check out the design team's sample, and join in the fun.

I have a special friend this card is on its way too!

This is going to a very dedicated and wonderful young woman, She's just finished 6 years of education and now about to take her boards.  First and foremost has always been her service to the Lord!

The Lord knows how to carve a life for us - all we have to do is let him!

The verse from Psalm 138:8 gives us this confidence!

If you aren't sure what that "perfect" is for you, just ask him!

This would be a great card of encouragement, the Image is from Graphics Fairy,

Here are my freebies for you today:

These would be fun to color.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and I hope to see some of your beautiful creations entered in the Word Art Wednesday anything goes challenge.

Colorful Quick Cards Using Digital ATC Set, Plus Sentiment Freebie

Hi Everyone, I hope you are having a nice weekend!  We have beautiful weather here in CNY right now and I have even had some nice crafty time.   I had a big surprise in my email this week, I won a year subscription of digitals from the awesome Gecko Galz,   as a part of their Birthday Celebration Give-Away.

I haven't had time to start playing with my new gifted images but I did make a set of cards for a challenge A sheet of ATC cards and patterned paper from my scrap box. .  I thought I would share the cards with you, it might give you some ideas on using your stash and I also have a sentiment sheet as a freebie for you!

Here are the Cards:

I used the sheet "Blooming Water"

papers from a stack purchased at Michales on sale.  I know  all this color is not everyone's cup of tea, but as it was said, to "thine own self be true"

I used two vivid background papers and black cardstock to frame the paper layers

I created a digital printout of white on black for the sentiment, but the best my printer/publisher could put out was a very dark gray.  Kinda blah.  So I colored in the white lettering to go with the focal image.
I am going to retry this in PSE or Inkscape to see if it is my printer or software.

I use hem tape for ribbon, it is soft, a great width ties easily and flat - perfect for mailing

5 Fun cheerful cards in less than a half-hour
these are A2 size with 130# cover for card base.

And your Freebie!
This is set up for a half sheet of paper

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Happy Word Art Wednesday, Bi-Weekly Challenge and Freebies # 492-493

Happy Word Art Wednesday everyone! Karen Letchworth has given us a beautiful devotion!  We also have another gorgeous  Bible verse digitized by Karen Murray!    Our Sponsor this week is             The Project Bin , offering a lovely $15.00 gift - that is a new set of stamps!!    Stop over to the blog, check out the design team's sample and join in the fun.

I love the verses Karen chose for us this month, they are about encouragement and service.

Here Is my card using the verse  Mathew 34, so timely for today!

I chose a horizontal slimline for this month's cards.  the background paper is by bo bunny and the graphic image is by Graphic Fairy

I always want the word on my cards to be highlighted by images - it is the most important thing, and the next most important thing is the recipient.
The images are printed on watercolor paper and the base is a 120# uncoated felt.

I take a great deal of comfort in this verse, I believe in being prepared for just about anything and I work towards that end, but I am not going to worry over things I have no control over.  I trust the Lord and know I am safe in his hands!

I have some B&W freebies for you today too

Weekend Card Challenge wtth the Prompt "Showers" and a Freebie

Good Morning!  Hopefully, in your corner of the world ( in the Northern Hemisphere at least) Spring is starting to make itself know.  Things are starting to get green here but it is still very chilly.

One of my card-making groups on Facebook had a weekend challenge " April Showers", my mind went to several scriptures in the Bible. I used Hosea 6:3, I love this verse!

So let us know—

let us press on to know the LORD.

As surely as the sun rises,

He will appear;

He will come to us like the rain,

like the spring showers that water the earth.

Just reading that refreshed my soul!

Let us know- let us PRESS on to know the lLORD.  So important right now - that pressing part!

I used an old digital image for the leaves and created my own paper and verse.

For your card making or small art gifts,
here is the JPG.

I printed this out on a 110# linen finish paper in bright white.

The most important thing we will ever do is press on to know the Lord,
We were created to be in a relationship with him, now and forever.

thank you for stopping by, I hope you are pressing on along with me!
Have a great day.
