Our Changing Times and the Power of Thankfulness and Gratitude & a Freebie

Hello readers, what crazy times we live in.  Have you noticed?  35 years ago, I prayed for my kids, and now I am praying the same prayers for my grandkids.  Lord keep them safe in this present world.

I am also doing the same thing I did 4 decades ago, Staying in the Word, praying, fasting, and giving thanks for the many blessings He has showered my life with. There is a great staying power in being thankful and understanding that The Lord has my life and those I love in the safety of his hands and heart. I trust The Lord.

I came across this cute stamp on Christian Cardmakers Face Book Group done up by my friend Cynthia O.  It is a digital stamp from Polka Dot Orchard .  I printed this on 130lb watercolor paper and used colored pencils and Gamisol to color. Using this technique the image worked up pretty quickly and I found it very relaxing.   Because inkjet printing is not waterproof, my go-to for digitals is pencil and Gamisol on watercolor paper for a painterly look. On smooth finishes, I prefer alcohol marker and pencil for highlighting.

Lovely coloring of this sweet image, Ginny. So glad you found it! Thank you so much for sharing with us at Word Art Wednesday this week. It's always a joy to see your work!
What a gorgeous card you have created Ginny, and it's wonderful to 'see' you here again...
Your testimony to God's faithfulness is a wonderful one... so often we think we have no testimony, when in reality, God's faithfulness is a powerful statement to make.
Thank you for the freebie - it is very much appreciated
Blessings
Maxine
