When I Consider What He has Taken and What He Has Given and a Freebie

This week's Challenge at Word Art Wednesday, included the beautifully done Job 1:21 Bible verse. I know the context of this verse is Job's declaration of God's Authority in his life.  However when I read this passage what comes to my mind is 'The Lord has taken my sin, my shame, my hopelessness and given me His righteousness, His grace, and the hope of eternity spent with Him in Glory.'  What a trade. As they say, you can't make this up.  Only A loving God, would redeem us, make and keep his promises and fill our lives with peace.  When people say "you have to give so much up to be a Christian"  All you give up is sin and death, bound together with fear, why would anyone want that?

Here's my card for the challenge:

This card is 5x7, the card base is 110# Ivory with patterned paper from my scrap bin.

I hope you stop over the Word Art Wednesday Blog, there is a great devotional by Karen L, Digital Scripture by Karen M., and lots of inspiration from the design team.  Plus if you enter - Prizes!!
Thank you for stopping by,
Ginny M
