Journaling the names of Jesus, A Glorious Crown

Prompted by a good rest this snowy winter, I felt the unction springboard back to blogging. I've started a new series of bible journaling, the Names of Jesus, and I am enjoying it so much that I wanted to share it with you. I belong to a wonderful Bible Journaling FaceBook group called Journaling Along The Way, owned by Lynn Grobler. This group welcomes all forms of bible journaling, digital, rubber stamp, and mixed media, and tutorials on many styles are offered regularly; the central focus is on worship.  Having gotten to know Lynn a bit, I am inspired by her passion and love for the Lord and her desire to help women all over the planet find liberty and joy in worship through Art. Located in South Africa, she is a pastor's wife, educator, mom, and sister to anyone she can share the gospel with!  Lynn has helped me grow and stretch myself, and I know someday, because of her, I will start making videos.

Several days ago, I journaled on Isaiah 28:5 Jesus, the Glorious Crown:

"On that day, The Lord Almighty will be a glorious crown,                                   a beautiful wreath for the remnant of His people.

I used a stunning digital by Liebshen Blom,

Fussy cut and added a few things for dimension and bling.

Can you imagine that day, when the King of  Kings is also the Crown of his people!

When I journal, I consider it as my praise to him. Do you?
I would like my vision to inspire you the way that so many other people have inspired me.

As C.S. Lewis said in one of the Chronicles of Narnia,
"Come on, let's walk higher up and deeper in; come on, let's do it!

So let's do it; walk higher up and deeper in!

Thanks for stopping by!

Your art is always a blessing and encouragement to me, Ginny. I'm so grateful to God for allowing our paths to cross. Thank you for sharing your wonderful art in our challenge at Word Art Wednesday. I appreciate it very much.

Things are going well here. Andrea got a job, and things are settling in. Praise God! I appreciate you. How are things with your daughter/grandson? Praying for you my sweet friend.

I have started Bible Journaling this year, but in a very small way - I must put aside time to be consistent.... I have a small notebook that I use, and have shared on Instagram. As I cannot draw, I have used stamps, Have drawn on a couple of occasions or used paper backgrounds.
Blessings
