Thought I'd share a few pictures of the distress tools I made. I have 32 of the ink pads and I wanted to find a economical and store-able solution for individual tools. I took the rubber off a alpha stamp set and placed Velcro on it and then cut one of my tool pads. The surface gives me over an inch of rub space. I still have a couple tools with the handles for the larger projects, these little ones worked great and there is room to grow!

This little project was done because of these cards that I made for OWH. These cards were first embossed using a "negative" image stamp, black ink, clear embossing powder

I then colored each of the Butterfly with Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I made 30 of these cards and it was hard on the little foam applicators that I normally use with my chalks. This is when I saw the wisdom of have a tool and pad for every color! What I didn't want to do was make a significant investment in those tools! So I made my own!! I love using these inks, did I say that already??
Another batch of OWH Cards made yesterday, 15.
