How to quickly Clean and Restore your self healing cutting mats!

If you are like me you would rather take care of things that you love than have to purchase new ones!  As well as an avid paper crafter I also love to sew and quilt, so many things in my craft room have to pull double duty.  My craft mats are one of those things!  I've been using the same ones for over 10 and even though I do take care of them they were looking pretty sad!  Card making, professional sewing, and quilting - these poor things have taken a beating!  And they were getting pretty gross to look at - I like things tidy and clean!

So I thought I'd try my Worlds Best Cleaner on them to see what level of clean I could achieve!  I was very happy to see almost new in my crafting area again!

I think I use this little bottle of clean in almost every room in my house including my husbands work shop!

After many years of heavy and some times messy use (mixed media)
my cutting mats were pretty gross.  I'm about to start a baby quilt and I sure don't' want any grime transferring to my fabrics!

here are two "before's":

Glue, ink and  multiple cut lines from the rotary cutters

I spritzed on a little of the Best Cleaner Ever and let it sit for about 5 minutes

I used only an old terry wash cloth to wipe away the grime:

Didn't they come out nice?

This was so convenient, no scrubbing, no fumes, just spray set and wipe!
Give yours a try!

you'll find 101 uses for this little cleaning Genie! The Best Cleaner Ever!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
