Making a Beautiful 6x6 Recipe Card and a Wonderful Recipe!

I recently tried a 6x6 recipe swap, my first one!  What fun! my recipe was for my really delicious Honey Walnut Balsamic dressing. I brought the salad to the event along with the dressing of the recipe!
Here is the recipe card:

this recipe card along with other will go into an album made for these types of cards

Before I even started I pulled out my Best Glue Ever, with all the paper I was using I was going to have a very strong adhesive that would dry perfectly flat and smooth.

Chipboard for strength and support, pretty patterned paper, black backing and ribbon to start. Best Glue Ever holds fiber embellishments perfectly!

Love this pattern, and look how smooth after gluing down to chipboard

After I glued them all together - glue set up very fast so you don't have to wait around  - no rumpling either. I edged the sandwich in Black.

I cut design elements on my Cricut machine and then because the paper was white core, I went over the cuts with a distress ink pad.

Big improvement

A little stamping on the edge

Just a tiny bit of glue to hold down elements.

I Mod Podge'd the whole thing ( Best Glue Ever holds up under other wet Adhesives).  a little glitter while it was wet

My Batch of finished cards!

And for you to enjoy My dressing recipe!!
