His Banner over me is Love

I finished the adult valentine cards this morning, it is 3am here! 
I wanted to get this post up  before my busy day started, if I didn't do it now,  I might not get it out there!
 
 
 
 
 
The bases are 100# solar white and they are the A6 size
 
I am pleased with how they came out.
 
The most important Love letter is the Letter of Love written by our Creator and Redeemer and He says to Us from Song of Solomon: The Song of the Bride
 
"He has taken me to the banquet hall, and His banner over me is love."
 
 
This is the song of the believer, "His banner over me is Love".
The very first time I read that was in 1980, a time in my life when I had felt very unloved.  I was 20 and far away from home.  But The Lord knew exactly where I was and He knew that I needed to Know, I was Beloved.
His banner of Love over me, has stayed in place now for 32 years.
He  says to all, Come to me and my Banner over you shall be Love.
What will your anwser be?
Make time to pick up The  Bible and read the Gospel of ST. John, if your allow the words to enter your heart, your life will be changed now and for eternity.

oh and certain card from you arrived today all the way to Oz - bit ahead of the day so had my sister look and see if it was a birthday card??

PS I taught Song of Solomon to our ladies group once and read it through every day,( ie seven times in the weeks) that I was teaching it - only eight short chapters but still it really gives you such a good overview!!

I really think this busy world causes us to loose sight of how precious this WORD is that we are allowed to read so freely. A privilege that is.

Tutorial: Making Napkin Cards

Here is a fun tried and true old fashioned card making technique. Long before we had all these sumptuous patterned papers we had gorgeous napkins! For depth of color and interesting texture, you can't beat them especially for the money! Most you you may have done these so this will be an ‘Oh Yeah’ moment! Have fun! You can start with any size paper napkin - I like to pick min up at Tuesday Morning, they have a wonderful selection and are usually marked down Separate the printed surface from the tissue backing - these napkins are usually 3 layers I cut my panels to fit a light weight piece of cardstock I drizzled glue on the card stock and then added my napkin panel I found it was easier to keep the light and floaty napkin on the table and then place the gluey paper on it Gently smoothed it a little bit - remember the napkin layer is very fragile I gave it a few minutes to set up and the just added a puddle of Lineco glue. How To Restore A Vintage Rubber Stamp

I have a lovely Vintage  Magenta Cat Stamp, I'm not sure of the exact year of release, but I'm pretty sure it is about 20 years old, It appears to be in perfect condition.   But on inspection, I can feel that the rubber has gotten a little dry and "tough" and what that means is that I won't get a good impression from it.  I bet you have run into the same thing with some of your older stamps!  Don't toss the stamp, there is a way to restore them pretty easily! I have on hand the little sanding blocks you can buy for about $2.00 at the hardware store.  The are very handy in the craft room!  I gave this stamp a vigorous rubbing and then wiped off the dust with a damp wipe Next a coat of glycerin - a $4.00 drugstore item - you can also re-ink your embossing/resist pad with this! Let it sit over night and then wipe with a damp towel.  Your stamp should have that nice soft rubber texture.  Now the ink will sit on the rubber!  I inked up
