Whats On Your Work Desk # 473 and a Freebie!

I've been missing for a month or so from Julia's World Wide blog hop of crafting spaces for the same reason I went missing for a year or so - moving!  This time I had the happy event of moving my mother from her home in Connecticut to our home in New York.  can I say I am sick of moving?  I thought at least this one won't touch my craft room.  I was wrong!  While I was away I had ordered a few second hand sets of stamps, I won't go into detail, Steve reads my blog 😆. and then there was the new cable service, new phone service and new internet service.  I am so fortunate Steve can do all this stuff and he worked so hard. Here is one of my work areas:

I was pretty tired from the move, but I couldn't wait to get back into my craft room - and find my new normal.  After two days of unpacking and rearranging the house, I got back downstairs to my little haven.

Wires all cleverly tucked away

Dry desk, a finished card for a sketch challenge

Wet desk, a DT card in the making

Using this sweet oldie but goodie stamp

Today's freebie:

It is a beautiful day here in Central New York, and we'll be off for a drive and lunch at a local eatery.
Thanks for stopping by on the craft desk blog hop, you can go here and make more stops around the world  at Julia's Blog

Hi Ginny, nice to see you again. Hope it's not too hot for you in the big city! The UK is in the middle of a heatwave, so I tend to come out to my shed early to open up the door and windows. I haven't come across a wet desk/ dry desk set up before so thanks for sharing the two areas. Have a good week. Sarah #5

Oh how envious I am of your two areas. The shots of your crafting area(s) looks great, especially now the wires are tucked up in their respective beds.
Hope you have finished moving folks for now and can get to some crafting.
Hugs, Neet 9 xx
What an amazing space to create in, with so many areas dedicated to specific crafting. I can imagine you are so Happy to be settled now especially as your Mother is now so close.

Oh I think you certainly deserve to be sick of moving! I hope that your Mum settles well and you enjoy living together. A new normal in terms of routine and getting toyour craft retreat will probably reveal itself. I say, your Steve is a useful chap, probably a keeper! Love the card on the dry desk.

I hear you! Our home still isn't 'set' properly after our move in April and I'm sick of having boxes still on the ground in my atelier. (Waiting for the handyman to come and secure a closet to the wall, I can finally store the last things and boxes then.) You are blessed to have a handy husband, mine is only an expert in Computer business (but that's nice too of course!) Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday, have a great week! Love from sunny (and warm!) Holland. Marit #28

Wow! What an amazing crafting space you have. Can I ask you about your pen storage... the wooden one with the pens lying in colour coded spaces... where did you get it from? Or did your hubby make it? I have been looking for something like that for ages. Thanks for sharing. Caro x (#42)
