Back to Blogging and Word Art Wednesday and a Fine Art Freebie

After taking a 6-month hiatus from the blog, I've started working on a better look, rethinking content and I've purchased a new camera. I guess after 12 years I'm not ready to can MaxamMade.  Is blogging even a relevant forum these days?  I hope so, I am not marketing and I am not doing video, I am still focusing on card making and outreach.

I've just about retired, I am only working 2 half days a week caring for a sweet elderly sister in Christ.  This is giving me more time for all the fun things I've been waiting to have more time for, as well as Ministry work.

I still love Word Art Wednesday, and I am using my first made card in months as an entry in this week's challenge.

After spending the summer on a home renovation, my craft room looked like a bomb hit it and I just couldn't craft. Clutter and disorder kill all of my creative juices; 6 months, it felt like a year.  Have you ever paused your crafting, and then when you finally get back to it you feel like, how am I supposed to do this?

My card entry is an image I pulled out of my stash, I didn't have time last night to actually stamp and color, so I used this beautiful Asian image ( I do not have the original artist's name, but it is part of public domain artwork).   I love her beautiful serene image and felt this scripture I used was appropriate. This was printed on Neenah Classic Crescent   "laid finish"  I think the texture gives it a more fine art-like look.

The scripture stamp is at least 20 years old and I purchased on eBay.  This was a whole set where many of them would fit on an ATC. I did use a cool chunky glitter on the necklace. this is a Recollections product, Vintage Silver glass glitter.

And a lovely fine art freebie for you, Van Gogh's
Olive Trees

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you join in the fun At Word Art Wednesday!
Maybe we will both win a prize!

Ginny it is wonderful to 'see' you back again - I have missed you and wondered what was happening.
I love your card - that is exquisite, and what a find that sweet scripture set was.
Thank you for the wonderful freebie also.
Blessings
