Cards and Parting the Red Sea
But I thought I would share something thing far more important that happened during the course of the day, I feel impressed to share this here and I hope it is an encouragement.
I Learned a Lesson I already knew late yesterday afternoon. In the course of our walk with God we will have many Aha moments that bring illumination and strength. Often when the crisis passes so does the revelation. Now while that sounds bad it isn’t necessarily, It isn’t because this is the Almighty we are talking about, not the IRS. The lord so lovingly supplies the fresh manna.
Yesterday I was talking to a sister from church who was struggling with her crisis, very real and very upsetting, in the background of that conversation my own personal crises was pounding out its own cadence in my heart and thinking. I sent up one of those help me Jesus prayers while conversing. I saw in my mind’s eye a line of colonial troops raising musket and firing. I felt the Lord say are you going to lose your praise in the first Salvo? And I thought Geese I am so darn dumb sometimes!
We have to keep are “praise on” especially in the crisis, if we lose our praise and worship we will lose the battle. Peter sank when he LOOKED at the wind and waves! Gideon hid when he LOOKED at the opposing army, there are so many instances of defeat while not even engaging in battle, just looking at it!. We look at the problem and think we are required to fix it. We forget the Lord will fight our battles, if we get out of the way. When we praise and worship and give thanks, we are allowing the Lord to step in for us and take care of business.
I could go into details of my crisis Dejour, but it really doesn’t matter, What matters is the Lord only has good for us and blessing. Struggles will happen; we can’t escape that because we still live in a sin cursed world. Our Praise and Worship will be a Moses in our life, delivering us out of bondage and separating Red Seas and delivering us from Pharaoh!.
Hope this encourages!
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10
have a wonderful day, knowing God will make your feet to walk on dry land.

- and yes...
agree lose our praise, lose our hope,
lose our hope lose heart - indeed..
and so we lose total focus..
.. focusing on the mud of everyday life
-and not looking up
- looking unto Jesus the Author and the Finisher of our faith. Heb. 12:2
as you so rightly show - He is with us before us and behind us - as He was with the children of Israel crossing the red sea...
love and God bless Ginny,
