WOYWW#196

Somewhere in last week I was supposed to post a product review and I am still planning on doing that, the review is on glazing products so stay tuned for that!  In the mean time it is WOYWW#196!  YOU can continue on this world wide desk hop by going here: http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ !

I have been doing a great deal of running around in the last week and have not spent as much time as I would have liked to at my work desk.  I have a large batch of cards to go to the local shops I sell to and need to get more done.  On my work desk today is a batch in the works for that and a challenge card the inspired the batch cards.

These cards will eventually be "Happy Birthday"  cards I have a lovely Chinese Kanji stamp for this that I will use;

A close up of the Koi, I used stickles for a little texture, not too much shine, just enough

This is the finished card for the OSA challenge:

The technique is called shadow stamping .

I plan on my birthday batch to be in the portrait perspective and not the landscape as the challenge card is.
I'm adding this, I just made a dozen of these....

And because I can't stop playing with the butterflies , this is my card for the OSA swap Black plus one color (blue)

these are all in the A6 size on 100# papers.

Getting an early start to my day.  Days which seem to be getting shorter all the time.
I woke up this morning with the quote from psalms in my thinking:
Unto thee oh Lord do I lift up my soul.  In this crazy world we are living in I so appreciate that as St. James said in his epistle: In him there is no shadow, no varibleness of turning.  In other words, He is the solid unchanging rock!
I hope you have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!

Love that Kanji greeting, and of course it adds so well to your beautiful cards. Time is really at a premium right now huh, it must be something to do with the onset of spring!
…Some lovely work going on here, Ginny just adore those koi and well the butterfly is breathtaking - thanks for the thought of the day too yes so easy to loose our focus - looking at the physical issues, and not at the end in view..!
Thanks so much for popping over and for sharing ~ happy WOYWW! Shaz in Oz. x #17
