Sowing Peace and 90lb butterflys

What a beautiful weekend in Western Massachusetts, the weather was so nice and Steve had the weekend off.  No major commitments, just a long peaceful 3 days.  We’ve been busy repairing my computer again, and while Steve has been doing that, I’ve been making cards.  I made 50 of these butterfly cards for the studio, hopefully I will get them photo’d and in the studio store tomorrow.
Early Espresso dye based ink  on ultra smooth birch 9olb paper, makes stamping easy!

Butterflies colored with Glimmer Glaze, fun stuff!!

More Color with distress inks

The bases are 90# ivory, Script background stamp,  dry embossed, distressed edging.

I can't wait to mail a few of these out, I really like how they came out.

These were very calming to make and I really enjoyed the time I put into them, but in  the background of my weekend I felt the peaceful calm of knowing that no matter what there is a loving savior that watches over us, A  God who cares.  With all the politics going on it is easy to just want to say enough already!  Ever notice  every 4 years this country goes through the end of the world turmoil.   The end of the world will come some day but it didn’t today.

Today told me something different, this is what today spoke to me:

Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.   From the book of James in the New testament, 3rd chapter.

If tomorrow comes, I’d like to put this into practice, and the day after and even more the rest of my days.

Thanks for stopping by and may your days be filled with Peace.
