Stay Puft in New England

What a holiday season for my family!  It has been great.  Now I am catching up.  Before Meagan and Roy arrived, I really cleaned my house, all the closets were cleaned and emptied, stuff sorted and tossed, I did the kitchen cabinets and pantry, fridge and freezers,  Steve cleaned the basement and did the same with sorting and tossing, I feel like I am living in a new house! It is such  is a great feeling!  I was able to catch up with the majority of my blog/mail/correspondences, got all the birthday cards done for January; family, friends and church, all sealed, posted and ready to mail - I use a small vertical sorter by my studio door for the out going mail. so handy....

I went to a stamp camp this morning and made a few cards with friends, Crystal does and outstanding job hosting this and we really had a great time. It is cold here in New England and very snowy, I arrived at stamp camp wearing so many clothes I felt like the Stay puft marshmallow man, I could hardly move! boots, gloves, scarf wool jacket.

On the way Home I stopped at a good will and for 1.50 I purchased a Vera Bradley tote for future stamp camps.  I am hoping this works for me, I can't seem to get the right tote for this job.

It looks like new in real life, I just washed and dried it..

Next thing I want to do is something with this container, also washed and dried:
It is a great card size container, hummm......
No I am not turning into a pack rat, I just see possibilities, hey if someone can make a purse out of juice pouches, then  I can make a treasure chest out of this!  I hope!  I'll post it when I am done.
I have some new rubber I need to make samples for for the company Stamp Magic, I love their stamps, beautiful deep etched red rubber.  I'll post when I am done with these also!

This is how I store my cling mounts, on a 5.5x8" laminated 130# paper I stamp an index  and use shipping tape to create a hinge, it sounds much more complicated the way I am describing it. I then put it in a small drawer next to my work desk.  you can find more pictures of this system in a previous blog, about  a month ago (good stuff too if you have insomnia).  If I was more tech savvy, I would just make a link  here     see it didn't work. I will have to check in on that procedure.

Blogger has changed their photo uploading procedure and that took me 20 minutes to figure out tonight!

wait will that work?

Tonight I will be putting my room back in order so I can start  tomorrow if I have time between church services, pork roast, dog walk and nap - with a few get well cards, swaps, correspondence and I have to take photos of my embossing powders and I have paper going on sale over at the studio www.maxammadestudio.com a 2 for 1 in 100#3 and 80# bright whites!
I hope you are well and thank you for taking the time to read my blog, I really appreciate it!
God Bless you Abundantly !
