Yes, another strong image, But I thought what a great card for a Christian man, it could be any occasion, the message was vital.
Here is a deal I found, this great bling that is flat and very mail-able:
at 4.00 for 10 yards it might be a life time supply of little flat silver dots!!

Abiding, and a freebie
One of the first verses I learned was from the book of St John: 'If ye abide in my and my words abide in you'... That concept of having a relationship so intimate I could actually abide in it was so amazing to me, Then to have the words of the creator of the universe live in me and taking root and life - what a privilege it was almost unfathomable I knew it was exactly what I wanted.. Maybe it was because I was involved in so much person conflict at that time I clung to these verses, they brought me peace and hope and vision and direction. These words have never failed me or I should Say He has never failed, not in 35 years. His word abiding in me gave me the fortitude to go through many storms in life and come out whole. We ALL go through storms, I could label a dozen or two, as I am sure you could too. It is how we come out on the other side that matters. When we abide in Him and His Word abides in us - we come out better. If we find our selves lacking, We need more Word and more of Him. We need to listen for the voice that speaks to our storm and says "peace be still".
I created a jpg for you using the verse in John, I hope you will be able to use in in your paper crafting!

My Card using the verse
Colored with Spectrum Noir Markers
YOu can't see the crystal affects on the leaves and grapes but it gives it a bit of dimension.
This is a club scrap 2010 stamp. The image spoke the verses about the vine to me.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day - Abide in Him and you will for sure!

Cover Me , card set and jpgs for you!!
Last night I created a set of cards that a friend requested. I always pray when someone say, What ever you "feel" like making. That means I need to pray about what that person needs. So I prayed and I began to worship and the song by Marc Condon came to my mind along with typeset and images. I listened and sang the song as I made these two set for special women in my life.
One of my favorite bible verse is from psalm 91:4 became the foundation verse for the cards and I included on the inside of each one. Please feel free to use the sentiments and verse!

I love the old fashioned typeface of this font and while my intention was a more muted palette I am very happy how these came out!
I hope the verse and sentiments are something you can use!

Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge # 202!
It is Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge # 202!!
The talented team at Word Art Wednesday has another great Bible verse,
Devotion and set of cards to inspire your crafting this week and help you to send a blessing to someone near or far!
This weeks Verse From Karen Murray
I had just the Stamp I wanted to use, I thought this image looked so peaceful:
This is a Toybox stamp.
I have to say I love the stamps that are copies of fine art,
only problem is they are usually hard to get a good image and color!
This one was no exception!
Wrong paper and wrong ink:
My trusty Speed ball press was not handy:
So I did this to get enough pressure:
Not very glamorous but it Works!
I used colored pencils and Spectrum Noir pens to color
I wasn't crazy about this so I stamped another image and colored and put it on with dimensional tape:
I also took off the map background
I think I should use this scripture in my banner, it is such a lovely way to live! Sometimes I forget to follow after peace, that I have to make Peace a choice. I think we all do!
Thank you for stopping by, I hope to see your entry at Word Art Wednesday!

stamping with printer Ink + freebie
I've talked about this before - using printer ink on stamp pads. I have a card today to share with you along with a new verse.
I purchased a new blank stamp pad, the one I had been using was just to big. I prefer to tap the pad on the stamp , especially since I am using a Misti - Yes I broke down and bought one! I am making kits and cards by the ton and my homemade hack version was not big enough for my 6x6 back grounds stamps. Do I love the Misti - Yes!! Worth every penny!

I had this verse on my mind in the morning so I sat down and Digitized it:
I love waiting on God, He is always so faithful and makes everything happen so perfectly when we do have faith and wait!
This is a firm foam pad and runs around $6.00
I inked it up - you have to let the ink soak in for about 10 minutes, otherwise your stamp will have an uneven layering of ink on it.
This ink is perfect for Alcohol marker coloring and so inexpensive!!!
It is a very deep rich black!
First few images were terrible, I realized the rubber was old on this stamp and I would need to sand it down a bit/
I tried a different stamp, let the ink rest :
I got a good image.
Used 4 Spectrum Noir Markers to color with

Hi everyone it is Word Art Wednesday Day!!
Last week was our 200th challenge and we had lots of Giveaways !!
This week Karen Murray has provided us with another
Beautiful Scripture to use and be a blessing with!!
I find this verse very encouraging and inspiring: I know and have experienced through decades that the Lord wants us to find Him and receive His Blessing!!
I used this vintage image:
Combined it with the verse:
and then colored it with my Spectrum Noir Markers:
I hope you can find the time to join us at WAW for the 201st challenge!
