In my stash, I have these sumptuous papers from Paper Temptress just begging to be turned into a card!  Here is how it turned out!  I used Midnight blue heavyweight vellum and Retro Gold Lustre Glossy

I used stash papers for printed background and card base.  My normal go to favorite for card bases is the Heavenly White 120#.  I pulled my papers together.


Beautiful texture on the metallic gold:


I printed my image - I wanted to do heat embossing with this card AND use digitals.  This can be done, you just have to work quickly!  Setting my image and my sentiment:

I love it in the black ink too, Gold would have looked nice!



This vellum hold up well to heat embossing, I had no trouble.





Next trimming with my vintage photo trimmer - I was a little nervous.  Vellum does not always cut well with a straight edge let alone a 60-year-old deckle blade!



No problem, it trimmed up fine!  Next adding a little distress ink on the card base for contrast.
