Making Paper Purses and a Freebie

Back in 2011, I made 285 paper purses for my MA Women's Conference.  The project took me a month to make and it was a pain the whole time.  I had a terrible electronic cutting machine and bad glue.  This week I had to make 20, and thankfully I still had the same SVG file, a new and great cutting machine and The Best Glue Ever!  This time it was a snap and only took a few hours.

These little purses will be a table favor for our churches' women's group.  They will have a note card set and chocolates in them.

I cut 40 purses on my Cricut
I am sure there is a way to split the SVG file but it was just easier to use two cuts for one purse.

Just a tiny bit of glue holds the paper together.

Hold and press for a few seconds - no hot glue needed and no burned fingers!

I little squiggle of glue hold the top of the purse and no wrinkles in the paper from the glue

Best Glue Ever also held all the embellishments

A fun little project made easy with the Best Glue Ever!

all filled!
