A fun card for a color and sketch challenge and a freebie!

This last weekend over at Christian Card Makers FB group I hosted a color challenge. I do this every weekend and it is always fun to see what everyone comes up with

Here is my card:

Here is the process:

The color prompt was from  Color Palette.com

I had a set of paper in mind, this shouts K&Co. at me!
So using my chopped index I locate my paper:

It is all stored here in two sets of drawers - about 200 chopped 12x12 stacks

I tried several types of in for my beautiful Magenta  Stamp

and Settled on using Archival in  Cobalt, I colored using pencils and a little white pen

Used my stamp tool for the sentiment- love I can safely stamp many times until I get the ink just right!  you can see my first attempt at teh sunflower was in gold heat emboss - did not work!

The card base is Strathmore 110# felt, a little bit  micro beads for the center

Fun!  I highly recommend trying thing like color prompts and sketch challenges, they are a great way to help our creativity grow!

Thanks for stopping by and here is your freebie for the day!
