Honoring Godly Women, Word art Wednesday and a freebie

This weeks anything goes challenge over at Word Art Wednesday  starts off with a wonderful devotion by Karen Letchworth.  This devotion centers around the power of the Living word in the lives of women, take the time and read it you will be blessed!

On a personal note, having been a Christian woman now for 35 years, living daily in my faith and walking one step at a time with the Lord.  I can testify that the words of this proverb are true. 
Christianity above any other faith honors women as they should be honored and treated as they should be. There is no gender prejudice, we are equals in all aspect of life and.  This equality is ordained by God's  Word.  My Life has not always been easy I have not always been loved and respected as I am now, but that alone is a testimony to the faithfulness of The Lord - if you walk long enough with the Lord and hang in there during the tough times - 'you SHALL rejoice in time to come.'

A wonderful testimony to godly women. Truly when you read the Word of God women are in the forefront of many things and seem to be a big part of everything. God did not make women to be subservient but to be equal in all ways. Man and woman not only compliment each other, they complete each other. For me personally, I know I was not put on this earth to walk around telling someone what to do, I was meant to love my someone and allow her to be ALL that God intended her to be. I love you sweetheart!

Ahhh wonderful sis, aren't we blessed to know the LORD? At my next Spiritual birthday I will be 50, saved as child has its advantages in many ways.

I recently watched a You Tube video on how to make an origami Paper dress, I thought these would make the sweetest card for all occasions!  So I had a great time crafting with friends and making these adorable dress card! Tutorial: Making Napkin Cards

Here is a fun tried and true old fashioned card making technique. Long before we had all these sumptuous patterned papers we had gorgeous napkins! For depth of color and interesting texture, you can't beat them especially for the money! Most you you may have done these so this will be an ‘Oh Yeah’ moment! Have fun! You can start with any size paper napkin - I like to pick min up at Tuesday Morning, they have a wonderful selection and are usually marked down Separate the printed surface from the tissue backing - these napkins are usually 3 layers I cut my panels to fit a light weight piece of cardstock I drizzled glue on the card stock and then added my napkin panel I found it was easier to keep the light and floaty napkin on the table and then place the gluey paper on it Gently smoothed it a little bit - remember the napkin layer is very fragile I gave it a few minutes to set up and the just added a puddle of Lineco glue. How To Restore A Vintage Rubber Stamp

I have a lovely Vintage  Magenta Cat Stamp, I'm not sure of the exact year of release, but I'm pretty sure it is about 20 years old, It appears to be in perfect condition.   But on inspection, I can feel that the rubber has gotten a little dry and "tough" and what that means is that I won't get a good impression from it.  I bet you have run into the same thing with some of your older stamps!  Don't toss the stamp, there is a way to restore them pretty easily! I have on hand the little sanding blocks you can buy for about $2.00 at the hardware store.  The are very handy in the craft room!  I gave this stamp a vigorous rubbing and then wiped off the dust with a damp wipe Next a coat of glycerin - a $4.00 drugstore item - you can also re-ink your embossing/resist pad with this! Let it sit over night and then wipe with a damp towel.  Your stamp should have that nice soft rubber texture.  Now the ink will sit on the rubber!  I inked up
