Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge # 202!

It is Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge # 202!!
The talented team at Word Art Wednesday has another great Bible verse,
Devotion and set of cards to inspire your crafting this week and help you to send a blessing to someone near or far!

This weeks Verse From Karen Murray

I had just the Stamp I wanted to use, I thought this image looked so peaceful:
This is a Toybox stamp.

I have to say I love the stamps that are copies of fine art,
only problem is they are usually hard to get a good image and color!

This one was no exception!

Wrong paper and wrong ink:

My trusty Speed ball press was not handy:

So I did this to get enough pressure:

Not very glamorous but it Works!

I used colored pencils and Spectrum Noir pens to color

I wasn't crazy about this so I stamped another image and colored and put it on with dimensional tape:
I also took off the map background

I think I should use this scripture in my banner, it is such a lovely way to live!  Sometimes I forget to follow after peace, that I have to make Peace a choice.  I think we all do!

Thank you for stopping by, I hope to see your entry at Word Art Wednesday!

this actually is one of my favourite verses, Ginny!

.. and going to have to make a card out of it soon God willing ..

... think "edifying one another" is the key to successful walk.. unless we build other up we cannot truly be happy in our selves I believe.

Sounds contradictory but so often is in our Christian walk.

Love your card esp second one and ye have done that too standing on big stamps :D

BTW have you tried sanding rubber and clear ones you have trouble with.. ie rubbing a distressing block over the surface of the stamp as that make huge difference on not much used stamps.

Thanks so much for popping over.

Whatever it takes! Loved the idea. I haven't tried that yet but I have done some strange things to make things work. Lovely cards. Hope you are getting things packed and ready to move to the warm south. You won't be too far there so I can visit or meet in the middle! :)

Hi MAry.
This is a rubber stamp image, I purchased on ebay. It is a very hard stamp to get a good image. I will look for it to find the maker.
