My Craft room

Don't we all just love a peek into craft room?  Here is mine; the space is in our basement, semi-finished and 24x30.  It is divided by the staircase

to the left of the staircase is the paper crafting side:


a giant cork board we purchased at a going out of business sale for $15.00  Card samples and ATC Collection.

card bases and 6x6 sorage along with solid card stock and my stash of Stampers Sampler Magazines.

Electronic cutting and printing area - Love this counter it is deep enough for the machines to run the mats and for me to work on the mats


I have a separate Desk for correspondence and bulk paper storage - no more cards with ink all over the backs!

It is wonderful to leave open when it's warm!

So that is my room, work, play and study. I am very thankful to have this space. It is humble but just what I need, It is always about what I do and not what I have.

What a wonderful craft room! Love the tree - and the kitty under it - is it ceramic? I have a ceramic one just like that my step-dad bought me back in the early 80s. God bless you in this wonderful space to create beautiful works for Him.

This space came together wonderfully, Ginny! I can't believe how large it looks! You've had spaces of all sizes, but I think this one seems the biggest of them all. Enjoy your room and may it spark a ton of creativity within you.

I recently watched a You Tube video on how to make an origami Paper dress, I thought these would make the sweetest card for all occasions!  So I had a great time crafting with friends and making these adorable dress card! These three are my favorites: I used an old Stampin' Up background stamp for the background on most of these. I left the sentiment off, for now, that way I can turn these into whatever I need them to be when I get ready to send it! Tutorial: Making Napkin Cards

Here is a fun tried and true old fashioned card making technique. Long before we had all these sumptuous patterned papers we had gorgeous napkins! For depth of color and interesting texture, you can't beat them especially for the money! Most you you may have done these so this will be an ‘Oh Yeah’ moment! Have fun! You can start with any size paper napkin - I like to pick min up at Tuesday Morning, they have a wonderful selection and are usually marked down Separate the printed surface from the tissue backing - these napkins are usually 3 layers I cut my panels to fit a light weight piece of cardstock I drizzled glue on the card stock and then added my napkin panel I found it was easier to keep the light and floaty napkin on the table and then place the gluey paper on it Gently smoothed it a little bit - remember the napkin layer is very fragile I gave it a few minutes to set up and the just added a puddle of Lineco glue. How To Restore A Vintage Rubber Stamp

I have a lovely Vintage  Magenta Cat Stamp, I'm not sure of the exact year of release, but I'm pretty sure it is about 20 years old, It appears to be in perfect condition.   But on inspection, I can feel that the rubber has gotten a little dry and "tough" and what that means is that I won't get a good impression from it.  I bet you have run into the same thing with some of your older stamps!  Don't toss the stamp, there is a way to restore them pretty easily! I have on hand the little sanding blocks you can buy for about $2.00 at the hardware store.  The are very handy in the craft room!  I gave this stamp a vigorous rubbing and then wiped off the dust with a damp wipe Next a coat of glycerin - a $4.00 drugstore item - you can also re-ink your embossing/resist pad with this! Let it sit over night and then wipe with a damp towel.  Your stamp should have that nice soft rubber texture.  Now the ink will sit on the rubber!  I inked up
