Quick Cards, Magnets and a Freebie

It has been a super busy week for me and I am finding while I am keeping up on one side of my craft room I am lagging behind in the other - one side for paper crafting and the other for sewing and embroidery. I need to finish a swap project for a sewing group, finish my Bird Quilt, and get a few dresses for my granddaughter for the 5th.  So before I head over to the sewing side I thought I would show you a little project I made for the members of the adult Bible study group Steve and I teach on Wednesday night and leave you with a freebie for your card making.

I've been making sets of magnet cards these are 4x5 and mounted on 140# watercolor paper. I grabbed a 12x12 pad and pulled a couple of sheets - I was in an orange mood yesterday

I found these extra thin magnets on Amazon, they work great and they are mail-able.

I thought it is worth mentioning, I am still using Lineco glue for 85% of my card making, including attaching this magnet.  I dispense into a fine tip bottle and use sparingly. My cards are flat and without wrinkles. Also, it is not a mess on my fingers if I get messy.
Water-soluble and easy to clean up. I purchase it on Amazon.  I learned about this glue years ago at a bookbinding class.  It is also very inexpensive.

I needed 15 magnet cards  and ended up printing 20 so I used the fronts to make greeting cards

I will send these to some of my friends that are still isolating.  I thought this verse from Zephaniah was perfect in these times because He IS mighty to save and he will calm us with his love.

For your card making

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
