WAW Verse and Digi and Tips

Just a quick post with a card made with the Digi from Word Art Wednesday and my Rose.

I plan on making a few more of these with Different color Roses.

This verse is so timely and comforting, I can think of a few people to send it to now. A great verse to bring comfort!

I used OhuHu Alcohol markers to color the image, I like these markers very much, they are very easy to use and blend, A lovely Birthday gift from my daughter given last year.

A couple of tips:

Because I use a lot of paper and a #110 cover base and #90Cover for the image layer, I have taken to drawing the black from on each of the layers (Instead of having a layer of black paper).

I don't mind paying the extra on the extra ounce, But I don't want it to become so thick it has to be posted as a package! This little tip really helps! One of these big fat markers will last me a year, it leaves a beautiful opaque black line/border.

To hold down the slippery ribbon, I put a small amount of adhesive where I will tie the knot. Holds it nicely and you don't have to tie the initial know so tightly creating bunching under the bow.
