Friday and
It is snowing again, and it is foggy. I had planned an afternoon away from home but that may be postponed. The Oriental Stamp Arts One sheet wonder challenge was quite a lot of card crafting fun, so much so I decided to do it again! I always need a lot of Oriental cards, I send birthday cards and "RAKS" and "DAKS" as well as the swap and mingle cards so doing this helps add to that stash.
For this part two of the challenge I used a sheet of G45 Birdsong paper that looked less like card panels than the last one, which I think is more the point of a one sheet wonder set.
This sheet is double sided which gives me more options. I used the entire sheet except on piece of paper that measured 1x2 inches
Two sides both a stripe type look
Here is the finished batch , these are all the smaller half sheet size and all are on 100# black faux leather textured paper.
To qualify for the challenge as with all OSA cards, there must be at least one hand stamped Asian image on the card.
I enjoyed coloring the geisha's with alcohol markers and distress inks
close ups
This is a digital stamp I colored in with pencil and then used distress ink along with a little glaze in the flower.
My Next project is a new release by Karen Murray I'll be making samples for her stunning Word Art!
I hope you have a great day and get some down time in this weekend!
