Whats' on Your Workdesk Wednesday #253

It's  work desk blog hop time again!  It starts here at Julia Dunnits in the UK.
I just went over to see what is happening on her desk and besides it being very neat I saw all kinds of beautiful green things that I think are called trees!!  Trees here in MA are still giant brown sticks!  Another month and hopefully we'll see some lush green stuff!!
My WOYWW conveniently picks up where lasts weeks left off!  My ladies group was canceled, so I wouldn't need the journals I started last WOYWW until today!

I'll  take you on a pictorial tour of the process of what I made this morning between 7:30 and 10:30am:

The purpose of this journal was to keep a non-secret sister type thing organized- there are 9 of us in this study group that will be doing this - blessing the rest of the ladies in our church
The journal was to be divided into 8 pocket folders, on for each week for the next two months.
I took 50# paper and folded it "up" to make a pocket

It was then folded in half to be punched for the binding on the "open" side

I glued DP paper onto chip board.  I buy this 12x12 chip board from Uline, it is about 35.00 for a case of 1000 sheets.

The boards are cut  to 5x7 I get three panels for one board.

I cut large tags and put a bity of ribbon on them.  Each tag would have a name on the back.

Here's the finished outside:

The inside:
An act of kindness for each person on the tags per week. When the person is gifted it is noted on her tag and moved to the next weeks pocket.

And this is what's on my work desk!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have time to join the blog hop fun!!!

Oh what a generous and pretty work desk this is! Lovely projects Ginny. Yep, green trees, grass that needs cutting any my beautiful pink Hawthorn (May Tree) is absolutely covered in tight buds, which indeed bodes well for a pink and cheerful May!
