Sunflowers

The first kit I am offering is for this beautiful Sunflower Card

I stamped off two images using my ink pad with printer ink and pulled my colors from the Yellows Collection  of Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers

Laying first layer of colors

Adding in browns, you can use colored pencil or you can use brown markers from the Essentials Pack   Key here is to work in the color with thin wispy stroke and blend, The same solution can be used for Marker! and Colored pencil!

stippling in dots of yellows and browns and a bit of black

I fussy cut the first image and the colored the second image with dark shade of yellow and added a bit of color on the under side of the petals

I added a little micro beading

From my stash I found several sheets I liked for a back ground

and the finished card

you can purchase the kit to create 4 of these cards

Here is today's verse:

For my sample card today I choose a sunflower.

I stamped off two images using my ink pad with printer ink and pulled my colors

I laid down a base color:

Added more yellows and then worked in brown with a colored pencil,
denatured alcohol and a blending stump.

I stippled in the center using black, brown and dark green.

for a bit of life like texture I added black glass micro beads

I layered my fussy cut flower on top of the second stamped image - I also colored the petals in a dark shade of yellow.

A little lineco glue in the area I wanted the beads

:
I added my verse that I also colored and cut to shape

My next step was to find a good background paper, this bold image was going to need a high contrast background to make it pop:

Choosing

And here is the card:

Here are a few sunflowers for you to have fun coloring!
