Challenges and other things

Yes the weather here is still a challenge!
Oriental Stamp Arts hosts a weekly challenge, this week was a "one sheet wonder".  You use one sheet of 12x12 paper and make as many cards as you can.

I chose a birdsong paper :

I've used this paper before to make cards and I did not want to make the same cards again from it. I cut away the black borders and went with a softer gold and ivory look.  I was able to make 6 cards from this sheet, I used every inch of the paper!

Fortunatly the paper is two sided which gave me a little more design ability!  Yhese are all made on 120# ivory cardstock.  The bird cards have highlight enameled areas which you cant see from this shot.

I aslo made the OSA technique of the month challenge " using paper strips"  and while this card is tame I like it!

I also made a Congratulations card for friends of ours that have moved and purchased a new home in San Antonio

I love this image! The paper is a very deep navy, I colored the castle with my SN markers, easy peasy!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope where ever you are it's warmer than here:
3 degrees with a wind chill factor of -11!
