Architectural elements

When I was at the Heirloom stamp show a couple of years ago, I came across a booth that had some fabulous geometric/motif stamps and cards made from them.  I bought several sets.   Funny thing I came across those same images in the vintage art world , actually I found all of them in the public domain sector.  Which is really great, now I  have all of them!  

I want to share these with you!

I know not everyone likes this style for card making, but you have to admit it is a little different and your are only limited by your own inner vision.

I made   three cards with these digitals to demonstrate how they can be used.  The cards at the booth were really stunning and mine don't compare. But I made mine with the things I already had in my stash.  To make the booth beauties you would have to purchase the stamps, the special glue, the special glitter and the special rhinestones all at very special prices.

I printed 3 sets of four, my plan was to do these four square.  Because you are doing this digitally you can make them any size you'd like in any combo of patterns .  Another idea is to layer up in diminishing sizes..

With this first image, I used my Spectrum Noir Pens 

LY2 , GB3 and FL1

red glitter and a few rhinestones.

This is liquid crystal, I was looking for a tile affect

Using a needle nose glue tip is really great when you want to glue tiny things or create these little sparkely dots.  The measure is actually a "smidgen" measure, I use this tiny set in my craft room, I never  measure anything that small in my kitchen!!

that red back ground is foil Cardstock and it looks rally sharp in real life!

For my second card I wanted this in blues and turquoises, I thought what a beautiful tile this would make on a vaulted ceiling!  I wanted it a little heavenly!

I used SN pens; PL3, LV2, BT3, GT3, BT3, FL1  all of my color combos are based on what I think will work, I create a little test pallet on the sides of the image. 

The last one I though would make a different Holiday card

All of the things I used for these cards were in my stash.  

most printers use inks that are compatible with Alcohol Marker coloring, making this a fun project to print up and take with you for on the go coloring!
