Crafty gifts, a swap card and line your edges

My lovely Sister Robin gave me a terrific birthday present last week
Robin is a master quilter and made me this sweet mug rug for my desk!

On the back on eof my favorite verses!!

And some paper goodness!

I love K and Company papers and embellishments!

I needed a card for a Butterfly themed swap, I used my new supplies to make it.
her'e a short photo 'tut'  on putting together a hybrid card!

pulling papers

Adding "frames" to each layer, this helps the eye see what is in the frame - drawing things in focally

I even add a black edge to the cut of the paper it makes a difference!!

And my finished card:

Todays tip:  Line your edges!
Thanks for stopping by!

Loved seeing the process of your beautiful card! Amazing how a little distressing can add so much to a piece of art! Kinda like how the Lord allows a little "distress" in us to refine and conform us into the image of His dear Son! Thanks for the sweet comment and visit to my blog and welcome to WAW!! God bless!
