Word Art Wednesday!! freebie images!

Mid Week in a Hot summer month, Perfect time to hop over to Word Art Wednesday and enter into the Anything Goes Challenge!  Karen Letchworth has a beautiful devotion for us to help start our day and Karen Murray has Digitized this beautiful Bible verse for us:

I think as I get older I really begin to understand this verse better, Life has a way of carving deep places in our hearts, both good and bad.  The bad times help us to appreciate the good times so much more.  What was a pleasure in my 20's seems so shallow compared to the pleasures In my 50's.  My Joy grows fuller every year as I know Him better, As I walk the path prepared for me, life is sweeter.

I have just about fallen in crafty love with alcohol marker coloring, I am now teaching it and offering supplies to help those new to it and those that are familiar.  Actually what I am doing is stretching the Gifts The Lord has given me, I had a beautiful collection of pens sitting on my desk for almost two years - now I am full steam ahead, combining with techniques form other mediums, I have found this to be very simple and rewarding for my style of card making.

My Sample for Word Art Wednesday  features the Blue collection of pens from Spectrum Noir.
I'll walk you through the process,  but first here is the finished card:

Starting out with my image and "Blues" set of pens

Here I added greens and brown pencil, you can also achieve greens by laying down TB3 and adding yellow pencil over it!

Adding a bit of pop to the petals with a tiny bit of Yellow pencil

I added a bit of stickles to give the flower Stamens a little bit of texture and depth

I used a tiny knitting needle to keep the stickels stem like

A touch of yellow to the petals gave it "pop'

For my sample card I added Goldens' self leveling gel, this highly intensifies the colors!

I fussy cut the image after it completely dried and put a bit of ink on the back side

Dimensional tape on the blossom and  then assembled the card:

This is the sample for the kit:

Hi Ginny, welcome back to blogging! This blue flower is really eye catching. Stunning and I am so glad that you are really enjoying your "new/old" markers! The tutorial is great for those color challenged (like me) too! Hugs, Crystal
Absolutely GORGEOUS, as always Ginny! I enjoy your cards so much, and feel SO blessed to have you on the team. I hope you enjoy it even half as much as I enjoy having you with us. Thanks for all your efforts.

I hope your trip is going well, and that you're enjoying yourself. God is SO good. He has your back, even when you feel overwhelmed. What a joy to know that His love and protection will NEVER leave you.
