Double posting today! #1 What is on Your Workdesk Wednesday!

Ya can you believe it and it is number 337!!  I think I haven't posted in about 4 months!  For those of you  who know and those of you who don't know: WOYWW is a fun blog hop around the world touring crafty desks!!  I stopped posting awhile ago because I started pulling my desk apart and well gosh that was no fun to live with let alone to look at on a blog hop!  For my WOYWW friends Steve and I packed up and moved to Texas!!  My craft room was broken down and shipped in 179 boxes.  All I can say is I sure hope I use a LOT of stuff before I move again!!

My new craft room is a bit larger and just as stuffed as my last one.  This time I don't have a garage for overflow!! I do have two large tables so I have room for a friend or two to come over and craft with me. I just need to find those friends and invite them!  In the mean time I am busy finding my new normal and exploring southwest Texas!!

Here is my desk, actually now I have three!

This is my main work area, to the right of this desk is another table that hold my PC and printer and second monitor.  I have this and the other work area cover with a heavy vinyl table covering over the fabric/paper cover.

room for a friend or kitting:

The I have my stand up area.  I was not able to bring my plywood counter tops from our house and trying to work on the tops of these cabinets with out it was just about impossible.  So I asked John the head maintenance guy here at the complex if he had any old counter tops or plywood I could use.  He said yes and a few minuteness later brought this up for me!! oh yeah, I'm on the third floor.  Wonderful view. Did I say 179 boxes of craft stuff up 3 flights?

this poor cast off gave me a beautiful work surface!!

So those are my new desks!
Thanks for stopping by and you can pick up the hop here at Julia's awesome blog!

What a wonderful workspace Ginny, but I must say 179 boxes up three flights of stairs - the mind boggles!!

Lovely work space and work tops! So much storage! My husband thinks I've got too much stuff, but it's only a fraction of what you've got. I'll have to show him your post! Everything is relevant! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #33

Ginny happy new home! I hope you'll feel very settled (third floor moving - just the thought of moving again might make you feel settled!) and comfortable with your new great view. You'll soon fill the friends seat, i bet your already embedding into a community as we speak! Your new space does look lovely....it's shocking the number of boxes our stash needs. Must use some, must use some.....

My craft room was by far the worst room to pack and move too!! (and I had shuffled off a few boxes here and there to my friend...who shuffled them back little by little) My hubby is only so tolerant! LOL! I love the desks, and the countertop is beautiful, and a great idea. Who makes the white drawers underneath? Ikea? Those are a great base. Hmmmmm Thaks for stopping by. Happy WOYWW.

I haven't posted in forever and you have a MUCH better excuse! I'm SOOOO jealous of all the open space it looks like you have. Mine is such a disaster. I keep threatening to move everything out of the room and start over! Thanks for visiting my blog :) Marissa #58

your new space looks fabulous and I am a little surprise that the boxes were counted haha and that scares me and makes me glad there are no moves in my future... I cannot even imagine packing up all the stuff that has bred in the dark of my closet at night since we moved here 11 years ago. ( lets put it this way I probably had 5 boxes of stuff way back when... :) thanks for the earlier visit, ~Stacy #42

Three desks AND a larger craft room. ..I'm so very jealous! I recently moved too and didn't bother to count the craft boxes, but there were definitely more of those than anything else. And, I'm a little relieved there weren't any stairs involved. Eek! Have fun getting settled in and Craft on!
Oh, and thanks for popping by my little space as well.
