DT'ing, and an Elegant Card for Easter or Christmas

As a Design Team member, I have placed careful consideration for the companies I work for.  DT'ing takes a lot of time; making card samples is only 1/4 of the work involved.  I design fo the companies I love, that way I can put 100% of my effort into doing a good job for them and my readers. I have worked for companies in the past whose images weren't my personal style and that was drudgery and I think it showed in my card making.  I made the decision two years ago when I joined Word Art Wednesday to only DT (after an absence from DT'ing) to only work for companies I love and feel good about bringing their products to my blog.
A new thing in the DT world is collaborating on blog hops and team designs.  This has brought a few new companies and products for me to try out.  This has been fun!  Taylored Expressions and Paper Temptress are two companies working in collaboration with Word Art Wednesday and Graciellie Designs.  They are also two companies that have sent the design team some lovely goodies to play with.  With both of these companies, I have been able to pick out the product I like and want to work with.  That is such a plus, honestly, I just wouldn't know what to do with a sexy mermaid image and I am sure any attempt would be a fail!
I the last few weeks you may have noticed these companies sprinkled into my posts.

With Taylored Expressions I have two new beautiful stamp sets:

Light of the world and Graphic Greetings Redeemer
Both of these stamps are of excellent quality, value and offer super customer service.

With Paper Temptress  I received a stunning 20 sheet pack called  Spring Green Speciality Pack.
Good papers are hard to find, They seem to be easier to find if you are willing to spend a LOT of money.  I found the collection for approx $20.00 enough to make at least 30 cards.  The papers are wonderful and again that element of customer service is so important!

I made a card showcasing both of these companies today, this card I think I will make a few of for Easter:  You can see how beautifully this stamps out, perfect the first time.
Actually, this is the second stamped image, as I dropped my ink pad on the finished card right before I took the picture!

I used a paper called Gold Retro
for my background:  I have never seen this paper before and since I LOVE paper I really was very happy with this one! The ribbon came from Paper Temptress too!

I wanted to share this card with you all and I wanted to make a mention about the DT work I do and who I do it for.  I have lots of wonderful "stuff"  I really don't need more and If I do, I can purchase it. I DT for the companies I love and want to share their great products because I believe they are the best and have the most value.  Will I work for other compaines? Sure, I hope too, but I will only bring you what I feel is the best product for the best value.

Thanks for stopping by,
Ginny M
