Tutorial Time - day two

On Friday's Speedy TV offers the Tutorial Time challenge!  You can go here after 8am CST for the challenge: http://mfpspeedytv.ning.com/page/tutorial-time-on-speedytv
this weeks' tutorial is how to make a crimped envelope card.

This is a very cute idea, only problem I no longer owned a crimper!  I substituted a embossing folder to create a crimped look, you can too, or any style that you like!! Using this easy tutorial with any of your favorite folders will give you a lot of card making looks!

Here's mine:
I use the Marks Finest Papers and Stamps set 'Pussy Willow' you can find this set and more here: http://www.marksfinestpapers.com/servlet/StoreFront

I fussy cut the bird and several fronds of the pussy will and used a white pearl nail polish to achieve the feathery look of the bird's breast and pussy willow buds.
On an interesting stash note I used a terrific birch wrapping paper I Picked up at a marshals, $3.99 for a 9ft x 3ft roll!  That is a lot of paper for crafting!
The birch paper was already heavy with a nice texture.  I adhered it to an envelope using ATG tape and then ran it through my embossing machine.

Here is the inside:

it contains  a note card! This would make a great gift card envelope too!
This was a fun tutorial, fast and easy!  Give it a try!

If anyone remembers yesterday I posted about my Spend fast .
It is day 2/45
Yesterday was a success.  Please note there is a Michaels, Joann's, A.C. Moore, Hobby Lobby and three scrap book stores all within an half hour of me.
Gulp!
I hope you have a great day and thanks for coming by, I appreciate it!!
