I had an Oriental Swap art Swap to mail out for the March ACE-16 swap today.
I wanted to do something completely different. So I picked a color I rarely work with - pink!
I used a yummy paper pad called Blush Glam by Craft Smith.
These images are printed on Neenah Solar white laid finish, with a little distressing. I also added pink glitter to the cherry blossom trees.
I have found using textured papers work really well at grabbing the ink and getting a good print.
With these two card, one I modge podged and one I did not. I am not sure which I like better.
These have the feel of what in the printing world is called 'calendar paper'. A very velvety finish, lovely for card making!!
Thanks for stopping by!!
Ah the girl who doesn't like pink has used pink ... Just joshing.
Love the effect, Ginny!!! and image, to be honest can't tell which has modge podge...?
Maybe just me.

Hi Ginny - well I had to go back to Michael's in West Springfield yesterday because my new Ott lamp didn't work! Bummer, but anyway, I got it replaced and I also happened to see more of this fabulous paper there and I grabbed a new pack for only $5.99! A score, since I paid $13.99 for the first "Blush Glam" one with you in Canton!
You used pink!!!! I like the one on the left best. Is that the one you put mod podge on? Did you put it on the whole card or just parts? I cannot tell and have a problem using it. The cards look wonderful. Hugs.
