Yummy

Who doesn't love fresh bread?? This recipe and a bread maker make it super easy and economical!

I purchased this bread maker on Ebay for 35.00  when we moved here in November.
I have used every cycle except jam making and it's pretty much foolproof.  Every loaf of bread has come out perfect.  This is by far the best out of  six or seven that I have owned and used over the last 30 years.

This humble raisin bread loaf is a favorite around here,

I use this recipe with a few modifications.  I add raisins and or cranberries , pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and Honey instead of sugar.  I also substitute one cup of Kamut bread flour for  one cup of the bread flour.  I will also mix home ground whole wheat  or oats and use that as a substitution for the bread flour. One slice of this and an egg for breakfast we keepS you going for hours. This loaf take 65 minutes from start to finish!!  Try it you'll like it!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!!

What a great recipe Ginny - sounds yummy, but I am not sure what setting I would use on my machine... I will have to investigate I think.
