In Everything Give Thanks

That is a powerful verse from 1Thessalonians chapter 5.  Any of us who have given our lives to the Lord have felt this verse can be more like a speed bump.  It has a way of jarring us on our journey. In a way, it is a speed bump, it causes us to slow down when the path is difficult; the slowing down gives us time to remember The Lord is always with us and has a plan and purpose for our lives.  His plan is only for good. When we take a moment to give thanks,

 the peace of the Lord floods in and restores. 

I encourage you to take a moment to give thanks, especially if you have hit a speed bump. Remember We aren't asked to give thanks for the bad times, but in the bad times!
