The first image is a vintage set called lace flowers it reminds me of beautiful vintage lace embroidery
The set is called Lace Flowers
And because I am also an embroiderer, I really want to print these on fabric and stitch them out!
But for now, we'll look at these in card form.
I'm going to show you the finished card first, then if you are interested you can read on for the how to's!

Hop on here:
This is vellum printed with inkjet and embossed with white embossing powder!
You have to work a little fast, I keep a sheet of 12x12 paper in front to my printer and sprinkle the powder right after it comes out of the printer. I don't want any of that powder going into my machine so I do wait for it to finish printing. Then heat
emboss.
The next step is coloring the back side of the vellum, this gives it a stained glass look. I used alcohol marker to do the coloring.
You will find that the color will intensify overnight, it takes that long for the nonporous vellum to fully absorb the ink.
You can see the black ink on the reverse side of the vellum, this makes coloring super easy and very forgiving. you don't have to be fussy at all!
I added a gold watercolor wash over the top to give a little more richness to the image.
To adhere my vellum I used a little Lineco glue using a super fine tip applicator.
A Beautiful Bible verse from the set, a feather, and a ribbon assembled on a dry embossed paper. The beautiful Pearly White paper is from Paper Temptress. It is called Cryogen White and it is absolutely Yummy. Some paper will crack and chip when they go through detailed dry embossing, not this one, perfect first time every time!
This beautiful card took about 35 minutes to make!
I hope you enjoy the blog hop and stop over at Gracie's to pick up a beautiful set of Digital stamps and be a blessing to someone!
Thanks for stopping by!
