Left over challenge and Monday Motivation

My weekend was very busy and I did not have much time for crafting.  I did manage to get into the mail over 100 Christmas cards.  I made the cards last week and did a speed addressing Saturday night!  Every year I say why don't I have a list  to mail to?  This year I made that list as I was addressing the envelopes, so I will have it for next year!! I also copied over a new address book. Last year my hands were bothering me so much I couldn't write legibly and my address books penmanship really bothered me.  I could do all this electronically, but I love my book and enjoy taking it when I am working on correspondence.  Pen and ink, irreplaceable to me!!

Last Friday I posted about using up the weeks left overs in an attempt to stop the pile up of scraps.

On the Left; what I started with and on the right what I finished with.  There was one piece of lavender lace that I tossed back in my purple fiber drawer.  I threw away about 3 pieces of green floral print.  I am keeping the larger pieces as I know I can use them for this weeks scrap use.

Here are the cards I made:

I do have  stash of card bases I pull from to help speed up the process:

I encourage to enter in over at MojoMonday, it is fun and you will glean lots of ideas!
I also encourage you to try using a scrap bin for weekend crafting to see what you can come up with - it is a "use it up" challenge!!

And now I must motivate my self to the other glamorous side of my life - laundry!!

Have great day and thanks for stopping by!
