WOYWW# 286

It's whats on your work desk # 286!  Here in the states my work desk is the kitchen stove for the next few days!  But I will show you my crafty Work Desk - if you go down a post you'll see my room redo, thanks to my wonderful husband - a fresh coat of paint and the shelving all reinforced!! I made one more adjustment to the room today and I LOVE it:

This work are is 7.5 feet x 2 feet  I covered it with 15 12x12 peel and stick tiles ( I use these all the time they are wonderful for table tops) .79 cents each!  It is a nice deep black.  Later I will run India ink in to the seams and you will never know what it is!!

Tink approves, he can see himself!!

Thanks for stopping by and join the fun over at Julia's blog for more crafty tours!!

We can't do anything without the approval of our kitties, can we. I am glad Tink has given his vote of confidence in the new decor, especially as he can admire his beautiful appearance in the shiny surface lol! Your new craft room is simply gorgeous and it looks very organised. I adore the quilt. It's so beautiful.

Thanks for your visit, and I'm glad you like my album. I am keen to get into doing more books. They are really tactile, interactive and fun, and a great way to put several art works on the same theme together. I have seen so many great albums and can't wait to do more! I am having such fun with mine.

Happy WOYWW,

I don't know what peel and stick tiles are. Are they normal tiles with an adhesive backing or is it plastic that looks like tiles?
I've just looked at your previous blog and I am impressed with the lovely craft room! What a dear hubby to do that for you! It looks really lovey. I love that quilt on the wall. Did you make that?
Thanks for visiting me earlier,
Have a great week,

Hi Ginny, Happy WOYWW and thanks for visiting.
I now have 3 colours of Pan Pastels, I won two last time. I haven't yet plucked up courage to start using them, they seem too precious! Maybe I wil now I have three.

I love your tree photo, it really lifted my spirits!
Your craft room is looking good and I love your little cat.

Happy WOYWW and Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you for dropping by! Your work area looks great with those tiles. I don't think we have any peel and stick ones over here.

Fab looking counter. Funny, I bought a box of cork floor tiles years ago and have found SO MANY uses for them. I have one in a gallon size zip lock bag and I use it as a stamping mat - just the right amount of "give' for a good impression - and one that I use as a base for heat embossing. :)
Late again - darn that Blogger!

Happy happy WOYWW!

Love your tiled top - just what I need to cover my work surface up in my kitchen as I detest it. Wish I lived over there. Too heavy to bring back I guess.
Thank you for visiting me earlier - Hugs, Neet xx
