Saturday and Stamp a stack and two freebies

Happy Saturday!  Today I am going to a "stamp a stack" event sponsored by Super Stamp Girl and 3 other SU Demo's in a near by town.  Knowing this event is co-hosted by SSG means this will be a great time of making 30 cards in just a few hours, it also means I will be making about 28 cards wrong in just a few hours.  I seem to just have a difficult time following instructions!  Anyone else?
An example, I participated in a swap this week based on a sketch challenge.

The Sketch:

A great sketch! and I was all set to reproduce this, until
I thought of this element/image

and this background

so the sketch became this card

nothing like the sketch, but I love the card, so off it went!

I had planned on a different card to post to day using two digital images for you (these two are your freebies)

a Lovely lady:

and this pretty background paper!

I made the card and waited for the stamp to come in to post

only problem that stamp hasn't arrived!

everyone needs a few great sayings for all purpose kind of cards, I really enjoy using my
" wishing you a beautiful day", "with god all things are possible" and "Art is the voice of the heart" stamps and I found a new one to add into the stable:

Wouldn't that be perfect with this card??
I think I will have to make a digital!!

I hope you are having a great weekend, I will try to post my cards for the 'Stamp a Stack' event, Thanks for stopping by!

The background paper with the flowers. I saved the sketch and may try it. Hugs.
So agree Ginny I often have a brain freeze and go ahead and make what I think it is to find its not quite right, but hey does it really matter?
I think they're a leaping off spot. Great work!!
