Ink About It

Here are two Cards I made form a pad of paper that I purchased yesterday at Life's memories and More.  It is a graphic 45 paper on  Wasau Birch 90# card stock.  Very little stamping on these.  They are in the mail on on their way!

Tuesday Steve and I went to a great shop in Westford MA called Ink About It.   The shop was very spacious and had some really nice stamps in it. As stampers know, it can be difficult to find stamps that have uncommon images.  I love the unique images, see the wow on peoples faces !  I want my cards to look like mini works of art.  But I don't want to always spend an hour on one card either.  I have begun to make cards in batches, and that saves me a lot of time and I have less waste.  I want to better utilize my time and supplies.  I know I have had a ton of great stamps just sit there and look at me while I am trying to find where my MoJo is hiding.

Here's the Goodies from Tuesdays visit to Ink About It.

I wish this image wasn't so blurry! I had to buy a new heat gun, not a planned on expense at the stamp store.  After Ink about It we stopped a Marshall's and and found some neat things:

You can really find some great things at Marshalls!  This beautiful peacock is beautiful die cut paper coaster, I thought it would make a great card front!!

Here is a picture of the card I made from the Ink a about It stamps.
The background bark is heat embossed with Stampin up craft ink and black embossing powder, then I added T.H. distress Walnut ink and and just kept working it in.
I've had lots of fun playing this week with stamps and inks, finding new stores and sending cards, Hopefully I will have one more play day tomorrow, If I don't I will be back to sewing Giant Blue Fuel Pod Covers.    Tomorrow, I am going to share a Yummo recipe of a hi energy, low cal , hi nutrition meal !!  Thanks for stopping by!`Ginny
